Breaking The Black Friday Barrier

We had lots of family come for Thanksgiving.  We didn't buy one thing on Black Friday except a pedicure and a movie ticket (Life of Pi).

We didn't step foot into a store on Thursday or Saturday either.

It was wonderful to escape the "bargain" mad house which has become our country's established ritual and just be family visiting each other.

We had a fire in the fireplace.

I ate too much, and ate some more.

I'll pay on the bathroom scale and in the gym next week.

Life is very good.
